well today was a pretty dang good day. lets start from the begining i woke up and i didnt need to take a shower because i took one last night. i straightened my hair and stufff and went to school. i found sara right away and she had cookies for ciaran for his birthdayy. then i went to biology and we had gotten new seats. i sat next to the junior who i think is kinda cute named cameron. in front of him is this really annoying weird chick who sits next to cameron's friend (whose name i forgot). anyway cameron and his friend are soooooo funny. lets see. we had a new lab to do today called a yak lab. its about gene pools and stuff. dont ask haha. anyway cameron dared his friend to say yak reallly really wierd every time mrs lewis said yak. oh my god it was frikin hilarious. then mrs lewis was like "make sure you know your partner blah blah blah" and so i told him i was dana and of course he already knew my name and that i was eric's sister. then we had to start the lab. there were 100 beans in a paper bag--50 brown, 50 white. the brown was a dominant allele for fur and the white was a recessive allele for no fur. therefore, any yak with no fur would not survive their cold habitat. wed pick two beans every time and if you got two brown beans, you yak survived and was guaranteed to have an offspring with fur. if you got a brown bean and a white bean the brown is dominant and your yak would survive, not guarunteeing to have a furry offspring. but if you got two white beans, your yak has no fur and it dies, therefore being unable to have offspring. so we kind of made a competition to see who could kill the least yaks.....i lost :(. then in second period i didnt have a calculator, even though i actually did but it was just in the wrong pouch in my backpack. third period was fun but i had to read this huuuuuge monologue because i was mercutio. thenn in fourth i ran the 100 yard dash and got 16.22 seconds. eghh not very good. fifth period was my first real day not sitting by noah :( he wasnt there yesterday. but he noticed. he turned to me and was like dana were not partners anymore!! and i was like i knooow what is this??!?! then we had to write story for spanish and ashley wrote one about me and she said this inside joke that i really cant explain but i started cracking up and nobody knew why and it was soooo funny. then in sixth i typed pretttty dang fast lol. at track i did some drills for triple while chris, my friend who has lupus and kidney cancer, walked to log cabin and picked up an arnold palmer arizona. mmm it was delicious. chechi had me start practicing for the 4x100 relay. im the second leg and emma hands off to me and i hand off to haley veal. whose mom hung herself in a tree in the backyard while she was on a volleyball tounament. horrible i know. oh yeah my brother eric hit a home run!!! he hit it off a pitcher whos got a scholarship to northridge and had three scouts watching. he also made some amazing play at second base play.

track meeets
just an update on the wonderful week of dana and track
its been a pretty busy week.
monday: first day of track. i did in and outs (sprint corners, walk straights)
tuesday: did nothing and watched people jump and got uniforms, etc.
wednesday: tried long jump and triple jump for the first time ever.
thursday: first track meet. long jump i got 12' 4 1/2". triple jump i got 28'9". i placed third in high jump and possibly first in triple jump. i was asked to come to the varstiy track meet on saturday in san jose.
friday: ran through long and triple jump 6 or eight times and went home.
saturday: biggest track meet of the year. woke up at 445 got to the bus at 530 with my pillow and blankie. there were only 6 freshmen: me, jessica, ashley sill, erica mellendres, seth jacobs, and ciaran costa. i sat by myself :( but i liked it. we left at six because alex anderson never showed up and we finally got a hold of her at 6 but she said she was drving up herself. then we left on a four hour drive to san jose. when we finally got there we were an hour late to the track meet but we got set up and checked in right away. i hung out with emily perry, olivia's sister, the whole day cuz she does triple and long jump like me. so i did all my jumps and i was super happy to get 13'3"! then we watched a bunch of other competitions. the 4 by 100 relay we won but they had to redo becasue the people started then from the wrong place but the gay other team put in a different anchor and ended up barely beating us. umm for triple jump there was a school there called logan who had the best triple jump team in the country. emily and i talke to a girl who could jump 32 feet and she said that for her team, 32 wasnt a good jump. she said a girl on her team had jumped 41 feet!!!!so emily and i were screwedd but we didnt care. what sucked though was that the board was further away from the pit than the one at our school, so it psyched me out. then on my last run through for triple i rolled my ankle and it hurt like a bitch. so i dont really want to blame it on the ankle but it did double psych me out. my first jump i scratched because i reached for the board when i didnt have to. my next three i didnt even get to 28 and i got pretty frustrated with my final score of 27'7". after that was all done we went up to our spot and chilled. the biggest news of the day happened in the girls 4 by 400. so our team was in like fourth place by the third leg. the anchor was jessica (idk her last name.) she wanted to win. bad. she ran as hard and as fast as she possibly could and by the second curve she was in first place. our team was going insane cheering her on. but 20 yards from the finish, she blacked out. it looked like her body just could take it anymore and she ran herself into the ground. she said later that she was running and all the sudden she was on the ground. so she got up and picked up the baton and started running, only to fall for a second time. she got up again and finished in fourth. as soon as she crossed the finish she burst into tears. everyone just stood there with their jaws dropped. nobody knew what to say or do. we packed up and walked our stuff to the front and went and talked to her while she got her track burned bandaged up. i took her spikes of for her. the bus ride home was really fun. i made some new friends. i sat in front of briana vargo, a pole valuter who was really cool, and kylie walter. they played this game called the line game and i didnt get it but after a while i figured out that you have to say um i can make a line from here to here. but if you just say i can make a line.... then the other person just says no you can t make that line. it was pretty funny. we were all mad because the bus driver wasnt going to let us stop for food becasue she isnt allowed by law to be on the colck for more that 16 hours. so wwe had to be home by 9. but she ended up stopping for 10 minutes at a fast food place and i got a ton of taco bell, which i ate. i made more friends with nick papas and some kid with a speech impediment and some wierd girl. we ended up just telling random things weve done and it was really fun. i went to sleep and that was that.

Good day today :)
today was a great day. it was one of those days where everything is just good and dandy. it was raining this morining and i LOVE the rain. oh except in biologly when i found out that i had made 9 confusing "birds" for a lab when i didnt have to make more than three. oh well. im the only one that does anything in my group but whateva dawg. estos in my group so at least i have a friend :] on the way to math i talked to gunnar and jackson and jordan and kaleah and maddie and grace and esto and it was supa chill. OH EM GEE in math i got into a dissagreement with michelle's boyfriend dennis (who is hella smart and is like alwas right) and he thought the answer was 3 when i thought it was 3 root 3. i had three ways to get my answer and he claimed to have two. but i ended up being right :) i was proud. next i met with my counselor and i figured out my schedule for next year. but i meet with them on march 19th to get it all set in stone. pe was fun because we signed up for our track and field events. in spanish we did gay stuff and then in skills i finally got to the third unit :) now i can consider myslef a professional typer. i went to track for the third time today. the first day i did in and outs where i sprinted the curves of the track and walked the straights. track is so much different than soccer because in soccer your rest is a jog, but in track they actually belive in walking! haha well it made me suuuper sore. then yeasterday i did pretty much nothing except get my uniform and spirit pack. i got a water bottle and a bag and some shorts to keep and some spikes, both long and short, and then i went home yay then today i finally got to jump :) i decided to do long jump becasue its not like everyone has to see you lose. only you and the score taker will know your score. so i did some jumps, both triple and regular long jump, and found where to start and what foot to start at and stuff. so for regular long jump i start 83 feet back with my left foot and for the triple jump i start 80 feet back with my right foot. we also got our t-shirts today. and i got my warmups. theyre a size too bug big but ill grow into them :) so now im here and i have finished and printed out my two romeo and juliet journals, finished my imagery paper, finished my vocabulary worksheet, and finished my mas practica. now all i have left is my math homwork and then ill have to get my track stuff together and then i can go to sleep. omg there was just a bulldog on tv and bulldogs are my favorite type of dog! i want one when i get to or out of college. it will definately be my first dog. well i got to get to my business so ill chat laterrrrr byee
ps i just saw that jack in the box commercial where they all are trying to guess what can be in a bowl and the girl guesses "curds and whey!!!" hahahahahaa love it.

Just a little checkup
well today i was in a very good mood.
soo i had coach o. as a subsitute teacher in my math classand it was pretty chill. he always is.
umm ugh pre ap i had to do those journals where you make up a character and place yourself in the play of romeo and juliet. she didnt tell us much about the assignment except to tell about our character. so i told about my character and where he was and what he did during the street fight between the montague and capulet clans. well, she told us the next day that we werent supposed to write anything about the fight and that we were writing about the fight for the next journal entry. what a bitch. lol im just kidding i still love her :) so i got a D+ on that :( but i can rewrite it for a higher grade. so i have to write two by thursday. thats pretty easy so i guess ill start tonight. well for pe we practiced the 4 by 1 realy for our track unit and learned how to do the three jumps for the triple jump. haha its super fun. then for lunch i tried the beef and rice and its in one of those little take out containers. whats weird is the lady was like "we only have the vegetarian left" and so i took it and it still had beef! wtf? lol so me and sara went to our special spot for the first time this semester and i was super glad because i needed to study for my spanish quiz the next period. of course (or should i say claro que si) i didnt have my flash cards. guhh. well i went into the period and me and some other person were the only two people without flashcards.. dang it and he was giving five extra credit points for them!!!! oh well i did good on the quiz and got both the extra credit questions :) then in sixth period i kept getting really frustrated because i kept messing up on my typing. then after school i went to my first day of track. it was pretty fun and i think im going to try my hand at long jump. it only takes up like 3 minutes out of the three hour track meet annnnnd i get to get out of school early and stay in shape. as micheal scott would say this is a win win win situation. so now im home and i need to do homework for biology and pre-ap and i think thats it. well i better get started on that.

oh oh oh p.s. the csc club team that me and carly were going to be on loan for turned out that they wanted us to try out so we didnt end up going to that. ive probably already talked about that. so this weekend carly and i are going to play for some clemenson guy for a friendly tournament in slo this weekend and i guess he needs like 5 players so me and carly have to find three more girls to play. so far we can only think of claire because paigee is too young to play. welll just remembered as i was about to post and thought i should update ya. well

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE
SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE IS NOW MY FAVORITE MOVIE!
well actually my second favorite, Forrest Gump will never be beat.
but it is an incredible movie. it is amazing how differeny Mumbai, India is from our socitey.
wow. i loved it so much. the plot is brilliant and the love story is so adorable. and for some odd reason dev patel is mysteriously hot. picture? sure.
well i jsut had to share.

Procrastination Station
i dont really feel like doing my homework, even though i dont have that much. lers soo for first period bio i had to finish answering questions about and article but i finished them in class. in second period i have to do a math woeksheet. i really like the type of math were doing right now becuase its all figuring out the length of sides based on how long the other sides are. then in third period i have to write a journal entry where we create a character and place them into the story of romeo and juliet. fourth period is pe. then fifth period is spanish i have to do a mas practica worksheet page. then sixth period is skills for success and i guess im doing my homework for that class right now....

Definatly my new little diary
im very very excited because i made myself a pact that this would become my new diary. usually i think im going to write in them every single day but i never end up going through with it because, well, im a slacker. :) this time im going to not try to push it upon myself to write every single day about everything i can possibly think of, but just do whatever i feel like and only write when i want to.
So lets start out with my wonderful week.
lets seeeee sunday was fantastic. it was one of those awesome lazy days where you do absolutely nothing all day long but eat and sit and watch tv. oh yes but i was sick :p blugh. monday was definately my worst dayyy i was stuffed up in my nose and i had an icky cough and my voice was gone. oh and every day i sneeze about thirty times. after school i had to turn in my soccer bag because the season was over. but first carly asked me to go to our spanish class to finish her test. well lucky for me she took forever and tyler horton and noah bewley were in there too. jtlyk (just to let you know) the hottest sophomores in my book inclue brady muth, noah bewley, tyler horton, mitch hollingsworth, and kelly shepard. and i said hi to tyler :) after that me and carly got our bags turned in and ate some delicious chicken-and-white-sauce pizza (my favorite favorite favorite) and we got our pictures!!! oh my god i can put them on here huh yayyy wel li cant put the one of myself cuz 1. i look hag and 2. i didnt scan it to the computer. so lets tryyy itt.
yay. fantastic. shiz its a tad fuzzy but oh well thats what you get when you try to make pictures bigger. so after i got this i went home and did my homework and yadda yadda i went to sleep eventually. ive been having akward sleep lately. to tell you the truth i wet the bed a little bit on saturday morning. i had one of those dreams where youre peeing and then you actually do. well i caught it before it got to the sheets so it was alllll goooood . and ive been dreaming really sorta creepy dreams. i dont know why theyre creepy but they just are. like i dream that my mom wakes me up and when i wake up i have no idea whats going on and i dont know whether or not the dream i just had actually happened and it makes me scared for some reason.
ok enough with the getting off topic, etc. this morning wasnt that great i listened to some taylor swift (hell yeah!). i have white horse by taylor swift as my ringback tone and i loooove that song. uh this whole day was just pretty boring. tomorrow carly and i are going to righetti to practice with the csc cluc team. im pretty nervous about it but whatev dawg. then on friday im goin to the village and meetin up with andee adn were going to have a sleepover on her mama's birthday and then the next day were going to go to the baseball games!! yayaya fun plans . in pre-ap english we started reading romeo and juliet today --the unabriged version ehem we are smart. :) but shakespeare's dirty little jokes are so funny haha. well i think im going to start my homework now and watch the lovely american idol. goodbye!
